Submit your application in 3 easy steps:
Step One: Rental Application
Contact Nordheim Court to confirm apartment availability. Once you are
satisfied that the apartment you are looking for is available, download and
complete your
application here: Rental Application.
A rental application allows us to check your credit, rental, income, and
criminal histories.**
There is a $28.50 background check fee (payable to MOCO, Inc. by check,
money order, or credit card, by using the Visa/Mastercard authorization
form).
Step Two: Verification of Income
Verification of income will be required for approval of your application.
Income must be at least 3 times the monthly rent.
In lieu of this requirement, a verifiable Statement of Support or
co-signature may be required. In this case, a guarantor, the person
signing the Statement of Support, will be screened for credit-worthiness.
If you are planning on using a guarantor, he or she must download and
complete a Statement of Support
and submit the form to Nordheim
Court in person or by fax along with your application for rent.
There is a $13.50 background check fee (payable to MOCO, Inc., by check,
money order, or credit card, by using the Visa/Mastercard authorization
form).
Step Three: Holding your Apartment
Submit your hold fee of $300* in order to hold your space in an apartment.
This fee is payable in person or by mail by check or money order and should be made to the order
of Nordheim Court.

Rental criteria for all students eligible for residence at Nordheim Court include:
- You must be a registered, single student at the University of
Washington, Seattle campus.
- No minimum length of rental history required for an approval. Poor landlord
references are grounds for denial.
- Credit history must be characterized as "good" or better from the credit
checking agency. Credit history with an excess of $10,000 in
derogatory credit will result in application denial. If bankruptcy has been filed, the bankruptcy must be
discharged for at least 1 year with no derogatory credit history after
the bankruptcy was reported to the credit report. If bankruptcy has
not been discharged then the application will be denied.
- NOTE: The lack of a credit history will not be held against you.
